Ideas

Four ways to make a difference volunteering this year.

From Oxfam supporter Aileen Vance, Santa Cruz, CA

"Our small community choir participated in the ACT FAST event the Thursday before Thanksgiving. We have done this for the past four years as a group, fasting duritng the day and then meeting in the evening for our regularly-scheduled rehearsal to collect funds and sing mindfully together. It is a simple tradition to keep, since we always rehearse on Thursdays and social justice is what we want to sing about!"
